Option 1: Take a belt that fits you comfortably. Then, identify the belt hole that best fits you—
this is probably the hole that looks the most worn.
NOW, measure the distance between the turnback and the hole that fits you, The turnback is
where the leather folds over the buckle. See below.
Option 2:
A. Put on a pair of pants that you will most often wear with the belt,
B. Thread a measuring tape through the belt loop of your pants.
C. Make sure you are breathing comfortably. Then, pinch where the measuring tape
end comfortably meets the other tape ends in front. Note: Also, make sure that you are
measuring at the center of the belt holes and not at the top of the belt!
